Aviation Paper Chase
More than 250 organisations, government agencies and individuals have submitted proposals in response to the aviation industry’s Issues Paper - released by the Government in April.
A 'Green Paper' will be released for community and industry input in September and by the middle of next year this two-stage, consultative process will have led to the nation's first ever aviation White Paper to guide the industry's growth over the coming decades.
The aviation industry underpins domestic economic growth and provides an essential gateway to the global economy. At present, it directly supports nearly 50,000 jobs and contributes $6.8 billion to Australia's GDP.
