Adelaide Granted Reprieve
Adelaide will benefit from a $30 million industry development program established by the state and federal governments.
Following the closure of Mitsubishi’s car assembly plant in Tonsley Park more than 900 people lost their jobs.
Federal Industry Minister Kim Carr said the program would favour projects that strengthened and diversified South Australia's manufacturing and technology base beyond the automotive industry.
Under the program's guidelines companies can apply for grants of up to $5 million with applications for the first round due by October 17.
